Sea Her Surf — Our Community Promise
Sea Her Surf is more than a contest — it’s a joyful celebration of women, waves, and the incredible community that forms when we come together in the ocean. Our intention is simple: to create a space where everyone feels welcomed, respected, supported, and empowered.
A Truly Welcoming Lineup
Sea Her Surf welcomes all women, including transgender women and anyone who identifies as female or non-binary. Our event is grounded in respect for all identities, backgrounds, ages, experiences, and abilities. Diversity makes our community stronger.
A Space Rooted in Kindness
We are committed to cultivating a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for competitors, volunteers, staff, families, and spectators alike. We ask everyone to show up with kindness, respect, and aloha — on the beach, in the water, and online.
Harassment, intimidation, hateful language, or harmful behavior — whether verbal, physical, written, or digital — will not be tolerated. Protecting the spirit of this event matters deeply to us, and violations may result in removal or disqualification.
Competition with Heart
Sea Her Surf celebrates both strong competition and strong character. We honor fairness, honesty, and true sportswomanship. Cheer loudly. Support one another. Respect fellow surfers, judges, and organizers. Win with grace. Learn with humility. Lift each other up.
Clear, Open Communication
We are committed to transparency in our rules, judging criteria, and event procedures. Questions are always welcome. We believe that when everyone understands how things work, the experience is better for all.
Care for Each Other — and the Ocean
The ocean is our shared home and greatest teacher. We ask everyone to treat the beach and water with care, respect marine life, and leave the shoreline better than you found it. Look out for one another in the lineup and prioritize safety at all times.
